First Prize in the “On the Corner of My Neighborhood: About Those Places Where We Buenos Aires Residents Meet” Comic Contest. Organized by the Institute for Urban Challenges and the publishing house Hotel de las Ideas.
The comic tells the story of a journey between the two furthest stations in the Buenos Aires subway system. An unusual and unnecessary journey that involves riding every line due to the slightest inconveniences, highlighting the system’s inefficiencies and the need to implement the plans laid out for its expansion more than 20 years ago.
The comic will be included in a publication alongside the other contest winners.
